澳大利亚偏远地区定义

　　澳大利亚移民所指的偏远地区（Regional area ）定义如下：

　　－除了省会首府悉尼市、纽卡斯尔和卧龙岗的新南威尔士州所有其他地区；

　　－维多利亚州所有地区；

　　－除了省会首府布里斯班市以外昆士兰州所有地区；

　　－全部西澳（佩斯市在2011年9月份也改为偏远地区）；

　　－全部南澳洲，包括省会首府阿德雷德；

　　－所有塔斯马尼亚州，包括省会首府霍巴特等；

　　－所有北领地包括省会首府达尔文；

　　－首都堪培拉所有地区（含堪培拉）。

 　　偏远地区（又译作指定地区）- Designated Area亲属的都可以担保签证申请人并能够为申请人多加10分。但是，凡是被亲属担保的申请人都只能够先申请临居签证487（境内）或475（境外）。申请人在Designated Area居住两年并全职工作1年以后就可以申请887签证，887下签过程非常的快。所以看似先拿TR签证，实际上和拿PR签证没有太大区别的。凡是在Designated Area居住的亲属都可以为你担保加十分。换句话说，如果你有10个叔姨姑舅和堂兄弟都住在悉尼，那对不起，他们什么也帮不了你。但是如果你只有一个表哥长住墨尔本，那么就可以给你加10分。

Who can be a sponsor?

Your sponsor must be at least 18 years of age and usually resident in Australia as one of the following:

· an Australian citizen

· an Australian permanent resident

· an Eligible New Zealand citizen.

You or your partner must be related to your sponsor as one of the following:

· a child – including a stepchild

· a parent – including a step–parent

· a brother or sister – including adoptive or step-sibling

· a niece or nephew – including adoptive or step–niece or nephew

· an aunt or uncle – including adoptive or step–aunt or uncle
